Summer Exhibition at The Wolds Gallery, Bainton, East Yorkshire
Hope you are all having a good ‘summer’, at least what there is of it!
Just to let you know that I have several pictures included in the above exhibition at the Wolds Village this summer. It is a lovely venue and has a very good footfall, with a superb tearoom / restaurant and a gift shop to explore, as well as the gallery itself. I hope some of you will be able to make a trip out there – the exhibition is on until the first week in September.
For more information about the gallery visit their website at: http://www.woldsvillage.co.uk
Return to the South West!
I have recently returned from another visit to the south west coast with a fistful of new coastal and surfing images! I so enjoyed my time there last year that I was keen to go again. Unfortunately, what I did learn was that you can never predict what the conditions will be like at the coast! Whilst there were plenty of blue skies and beautiful ocean colours to be had, surfing conditions were poor – much to the disappointment of local surfers, and me, of course! However, I still managed to enjoy taking some different kinds of images related to surfing, and now have a good number of images to add to my ‘collection’!
Belated New Year Greetings, and yet more Stained Glass…!
After all the business of Christmas it has seemed to be a rather damp and uninspiring January but February now brings with it the promise of lighter days, sprouting bulbs, and warmer temperatures (well, hopefully…!).
Whilst having a few photographic ‘projects’ in mind for later in the year, I decided to take advantage of this ‘quieter’ time by progressing my interest and exploration of stained glass work in some of the churches near where I live in East Yorkshire. It is surprising just how many different churches can be within a very short distance of you!
We had a great weekend for our VPS (Viewfinders’ Photographic Society) annual exhibition at the beginning of October, with a record number of visitors! It was good to meet up with regular ‘supporters’ of the club and to also meet so many new people. For me, of course, it was also the opportunity to display some of my new product lines for the first time! They were all very well received I am pleased to say…
Please do contact me if you are interested in any of these items, as below:
Panoramic fridge magnets: £3.00
Glass coasters: £5.50
(insert size 80x80mm)
Whilst I haven’t as yet got these new items ‘photographed’ for the website, please do let me know if there is a particular image you are interested in for any of these products, and I will endeavour to help if I can.
